After becoming a licensed nail technician over 6 years ago, I quickly realized something many aspiring nail techs experience—nail school didn’t prepare me for the real world. Even though I had already started taking clients, the education I received wasn’t enough to give me the confidence I needed to excel in my business. Unfortunately, this lack of comprehensive training is common in many cosmetology schools.

That’s why I created Tha Nail Artistry Academy. 

Our mission to change the way nail education is delivered. At our academy, we ensure that when you graduate, you don’t just leave with a license, you leave with the skills, confidence, and leadership ability to open your own business. With guidance from our knowledgeable instructors, we equip you with everything you need to succeed from day one. We believe in creating nail professionals who are not just technically skilled but ready to thrive as business owners and leaders in the beauty industry.

Gen has over 6 years as a licensed nail technician specializing in Acrylic, Polygel, Natural nail care & Nail Art, 3 years of owning a successful nail salon, and currently running Tha Nail Artistry Academy. She is passionate about teaching advanced nail techniques, nail art, and client retention strategies to future nail techs.
